I am Abdul Nasir Jilani, a development professional and policy advocate committed to promoting sustainable development and evidence-based reforms in Pakistan. I currently serve as the Chief Executive Officer of Advocacy Awareness & Sustainable Services Organization (AASS), an Islamabad-based nonprofit organization and think tank.

My work focuses on agriculture and food security, climate change, economic reforms, media literacy and inclusive development. Through AASS, I bring together policymakers, researchers, academics, business leaders, development professionals and young people to discuss national challenges and identify practical solutions.

I am particularly interested in strengthening Pakistan’s agriculture sector through investment, value addition, improved market linkages and export-oriented policies. I also advocate for climate-resilient development, environmental awareness and collaboration among government, the private sector, academia and civil society.

Another important area of my work is countering misinformation and promoting media literacy. I believe responsible communication, fact-checking and critical thinking are essential for informed public participation and effective policymaking.

Through conferences, policy dialogues, roundtables and awareness initiatives, I work to build meaningful partnerships and transform ideas into action. My vision is to contribute to a more informed, economically resilient, environmentally responsible and socially inclusive Pakistan.
